Biography
The 12-year-old Hmong Thongdee was born to a couple of Burmese migrant workers in northern Chiang Mai province. He received Thai education from primary school, Bann Huay Sai, in the Chiangmai province but did not obtain Thai citizenship due to his alien parents.
His Father’s name is Yoon Thongdee. His Mother’s name is Moy Thongdee. His parents were born in Bann Nam Jang, Burma.
Because of their poverty, they migrated to Chiangmai Thailand and
worked as lichee gardeners in Fang District.
After giving Hmong birth, they moved to Sansai District. They work as construction workers. Now, they are living in Mueng District, Chiangmai.

Award
- Youth under 12 winner from Thailand 5th Paper folding airplane competition held by National Metal and Materials Technology(MTEC), National Science&Technology Development agency(NSTDA), Ministry of Science and Technology, and together with Paperfolding Airplane Association on 22 August 2008. His plane could fly in the air for 12.50 seconds.
- Male Youth under 12 second runner up from Japanese 4th Paperfolding air plane competition in Shiba,Japan held by Japan Origami-Airplane Association
( JOAA ) on 20 September 2009. His plane could fly in the air for 10.53 second
