Past Perfect Tense

     3. ใช้หลังคำว่า that ในประโยค Indirect Speech ซึ่งเปลี่ยนมาจากประโยค Direct Speech เช่น
         - He told me that they had left about an hour before.
         - They said that they had done the report.

     4. ใช้กับ no sooner ...............than......(ทันทีที่..........ก็....)
                Hardly ....................when ....(ทันทีที่..........ก็....)
                Scarcely ..................when ....(ทันทีที่..........ก็....)

Subject	had	no sooner	V3	than	Subject	Past Simple
		hardly		when
		scarcely		when

   

      - They had no sooner finished their work than they went out.
      - They had scarcely left the house when the letter came.
