โปรแกรม Power Point ได้ถูกรวมเข้าเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโปรแกรมชุดไมโครซอฟต์ ออฟฟิต
เรียกว่า ไมโครซอฟต์ เพาเวอร์พอยต์ (Microsoft Power Point) และได้พัฒนามาจนถึงรุ่น 2003
ในการศึกษาโปรแกรม Power Point 2003 นี้ จะเน้นในเรื่องการสร้างภาพเคลื่อนไหวประกอบสไลด์
และการนำเสนองาน (Presentation) ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ

ส่วนประกอบของโปรแกรม

แถบเครื่องมือ

เครื่องมือพื้นฐานส่วนใหญ่ของโปรแกรม Power point จะเหมือนกับโปรแกรมอื่น ๆ ในชุด Office 2003

Tittle Bar คือ แถบหัวเรื่อง หรือแถบแสดงชื่อโปรแกรมและชื่อไฟล์สไลด์ดังรูป
Menu Bar คือ แถบเมนูคำสั่งต่างๆ ประกอบไปด้วย แฟ้มแก้ไข แทรก รูปแบบ เครื่องมือ การนำเสนอ
ภาพนิ่ง หน้าต่าง และวิธีการใช้
Tool Bar คือ เครื่องมือที่โปรแกรม Power Point ให้มาเพื่อช่วยในการเรียกใช้ Function ต่าง ๆ
ได้สะดวกขึ้น เมื่อเริ่มต้นใช้งานหน้าต่างโปรแกรมจะปรากฎ Toolbar สำหรับการใช้งานคล้ายกับ
Microsoft Word หรือ Microsoft Excel เช่น Toolbars Standard และ Formatting ส่วน
Toolbar อื่น ๆ ก็สามารถเปิดใช้งานได้เช่นเดียวกัน เมื่อเลือกแถบเครื่องมือแล้ว หลังจากนั้น
จะปรากฎแถบเครื่องมือดังรูป
