Present  Continuous  Tense

                                   โครงสร้าง  Subject  +  is, am, are  +  v.ing

                 Present  Continuous  Tense  จะต้องมี  is, am, are  หรือ   v.to  be  นำหน้า v.ing  เสมอ  โดยประธานที่ใช้กริยา  is  คือ he, she, it        ใช้กริยา  am  คือ I,      ใช้กริยา are คือ we, you, they 

                หลักการใช้  Present  Continuous  Tense

                1.  ใช้กับการกระทำที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในขณะที่พูด

                     Where  is  Jane ?          She  is  cooking  in  the  kitchen .

                     Don ' t  make  so  much  noise , please .  My  mother  is  taking  a  nap .

                     Look !  The  police  are  catching  the  thieves .

               2.  ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่มีเวลาในปัจจุบันเหล่านี้กำหนดอยู่

                    now                then              at the moment            at this time

                    this  year         this  week      this  month

                    My  son  is  watching  television  now .

                    I  am  talking  to  my  friend  at  this  moment .

              3.  ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นเพียงชั่วขณะหนึ่ง  ชั่วคราว  ( temporary )

                   My  parents  are  staying  at  this  hotel  until  they  find  their 

 friend ' s  house .

                   I  am  studying  in  M.3  this  year  .

               4.  กริยาแสดงการเปลี่ยนแปลงซึ่งให้ความรู้สึก  เพิ่มขึ้น  ลดลง  หรือเคลื่อนไหว  มักนิยมใช้กับ  Present  Continuous  Tense  ได้แก่  rise,  change,  increase, fall, improve  เช่น

                    The  interest  of  the  bank  is  falling .

                    Your  English  is  improving .
