ความยาว 213 ซม. เป็นงูในตระกูลงูหลาม มีถิ่นที่อยู่อาศัยในแถบนิวกินี ลำตัวสีม่วงอมน้ำตาล ไม่มีลวดลาย เมื่อสะท้อนแสงแดดแล้วจะเงาแวววาวเหมือนสีรุ้ง บริเวณเกล็ดริมฝัปากบนและล่างสีขาว บริเวณด้ายหน้าเกล็ดมีสีดำ
