It
is a great pleasure for me to
know Mr. Poonsak, who is an
excellent ALCoB. He is not only
one of the most prominent teachers
in Thailand, but he also is
a very active ALCoB member
in APEC.
Voluntarily
and significantly, he has made
many valuable innovative contributions
to the education of Thailand
and to APEC Learning Community
projects. I am deeply impressed
with his initiatives and doings,
including the website: ThaiGoodView.com.
I
realize that his devotion comes
from his heart, and I strongly
recommend him with full respect.

October 14, 2005 Dear
Sir or Madam:
I
have had the privilege of knowing
Mr. Poonsak Sakkatatiuyakul
professionally since March,
2005. Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul was
a student of mine during that
period of time. Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul
successfully completed the Microsoft
Peer Coaching Master Trainer
course under my leadership.
I
am happy to attest to the high
quality of Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul’s
professionalism, knowledge of
technology integration in education,
and passion for students. Mr.
Sakkatatiuyakul was looked upon
as a leader by his colleagues
during the Peer Coaching Master
Trainer course. He frequently
shared excellent examples of
how students in his school were
integrating technology. Mr.
Sakkatatiuyakul’s Web site,
thaigoodview.com, became a resource
used by colleagues during our
course.
It
was my pleasure to also observe
Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul at his school,
Satri Si Suriyothai, in Bangkok.
During my visit I observed how
Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul was seen
as a leader and resource by
the other teachers of the school.
In fact, Director Nagadatta
of Satri Si Suriyothai School
told me what a valuable resource
Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul was for
the school. There were many
examples of strong student work
that made good use of technology
at Satri Si Suriyothai School,
and it was apparent that Mr.
Sakkatatiuyakul’s contributions
had a lot to do with the wide-spread
success of the school.
In
the Peer Coaching Master Trainer
course, Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul
was challenged to rise to a
new level of collegial leadership
and service. He was a willing
and able student. Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul’s
enthusiasm, willingness to share,
and deep experience with teachnology
integration made him a valued
member of our learning community.
I consider Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul
to be among the vanguard of
technology-using teachers in
Asia, and I believe he firmly
deserves a place among the Microsoft
Innovative Teachers for your
region.
Please
do not hesitate to contact me
if I may offer any further testimony
to Mr. Sakkatatiuyakul’s worthiness
for this recognition.
Sincerely, Michael Gravin
