การใช้ประโยคโดยทั่วไปจะใช้เป็น Active Voice และหลีกเลี่ยงการใช้ Passive เท่าที่จะทำได้ แต่หากจะมีการใช้ Passive Voice ก็มักจะใช้ในการเขียนเอกสารที่เป็น ทางการ ข่าว และรายงานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เช่น ในข่าวในหนังสือพิมพ์
